The "3+X" characteristic industrial cluster of Lihe Science and Technology Park (Foshan) has gained momentum! This morning (March 19), Guangdong Huaanmei Technology R&D and Security Service Center (hereinafter referred to as "Huaanmei Security Service Center") was successfully unveiled and put into operation in the Science and Technology Park.

The service center was jointly built by Foshan Nanhai Zhanmei Metal Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhanmei Metal") and the Association of Retired Professors of South China University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as "SCUT Retired Professors Association"). Combining Zhanmei Metal's industrial practice experience and deeply integrating AI, Internet of Things and industrial safety technologies, it is committed to providing enterprises with comprehensive solutions covering full-chain safety management, balanced energy saving and other services, helping enterprises to build a solid technical and security defense line.

Huaanmei Safety Service Center is located on the first floor of Building 27 of Lihe Science and Technology Park (Foshan), with a total investment of 25 million yuan and an area of 1,500 square meters. It is a major platform project introduced in the field of non-ferrous metals in the Science and Technology Park. The center will promote the deep integration of industry, academia and research through the Association of Retired Professors of SUGU, provide customized safety technology solutions for manufacturing enterprises, and promote the construction of industry standardization. At the same time, it will work closely with the Foshan Forest Defense Team to escort the safe development of enterprises. The center will provide enterprises with five special service projects: full-chain safety control, balanced energy-saving management, project incubation, industrial intelligent production solutions, comprehensive product modification solutions, and AI+industrial talent empowerment. Among them, in the full-chain safety control project service, the center relies on the technical accumulation of Ma Xiaoming, a professor at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering of SUGU, and introduces AI risk warning systems and real-time detection technologies of the Internet of Things to accurately improve the accident prediction rate at the production site and help enterprises reduce the incidence of production safety accidents.

Zou Guanfei, deputy director of the Nanhai District Science and Technology Bureau, expressed the hope that the Huaanmei Security Service Center, universities and experts can complement each other's strengths in scientific and technological innovation and industrial transformation, give full play to the resource integration capabilities of South China University of Technology at the source of innovation, promote the development of the entire industrial chain, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation, and promote the implementation and transformation of more scientific and technological innovation results in Nanhai.

Han Youjun, deputy mayor of Shishan Town, said that the non-ferrous metal industry is in urgent need of transformation and upgrading. He hopes that Huaanmei Safety Service Center can play the role of corporate innovation, rely on the advanced technology of South China University of Technology in the domestic industrial field, increase research and development investment, and combine South China University of Technology's advanced technology with local enterprises to provide a transformation paradigm for Shishan Town's traditional aluminum profile industry and effectively achieve a deep breakthrough in industrial upgrading.

The Association of Retired Professors of South China University of Technology was established in 1997 and has the largest number of members among the Guangdong Retired Professors Association. Huang Shisheng, former vice president of South China University of Technology and president of the Association of Retired Professors of South China University of Technology, introduced that the think tank of the Association of Retired Professors of South China University of Technology has a group of practical talents in science and engineering at the national level, including 867 senior experts in multiple disciplines and 37 college research teams, covering the fields of intelligence, machinery, materials, safety, etc., which can accurately meet the needs of enterprises and realize the on-site conversion of scientific research results.

The unveiling of the Huaanmei Safety Service Center is a concrete manifestation of the strong combination of "university intelligence + corporate leaders". Huang Shisheng said that in the future, the Huaanmei Safety Service Center will deepen the cooperation between industry, academia and research, and set up a "professor + engineer" team for the core areas of industrial risk intelligent early warning to overcome technical difficulties and transform scientific and technological achievements into productivity. At the same time, the center will build an industrial safety technology transformation platform, promote standard formulation, case sharing and industry empowerment, help build a safe ecological environment for Shishan manufacturing, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

"Zhanmei has been deeply involved in the field of industrial aluminum for a long time. In the process of pursuing production scale and efficiency improvement, it has a profound and urgent need for safe production and intelligent production." Kuang Yaoji, general manager of Zhanmei Metal, introduced that it is based on the persistent exploration of intrinsic safety that the Huaanmei Safety Service Center came into being. In the past five years, Zhanmei Metal has cooperated with the Association of Retired Professors of Huagong University to equip aluminum foundries with "AI eyes" to improve the accuracy of early warning of aluminum leakage in castings, and to provide "intelligent armor" for special equipment to reduce the accident rate. He pointed out that the Huaanmei Safety Service Center will focus on three major directions in the future: first, to deepen the field of aluminum processing and create a safe and reliable solution for the entire chain; second, to export mature technology models and emergency systems across industries to provide customized safety services for the automotive, chemical and other fields; third, to build an open ecological platform to promote enterprise safety upgrades and help China's safety technology global layout.

Nonferrous metals are one of the two 100 billion-level industrial clusters in Nanhai District, and are also the traditional advantageous industries of Shishan Town where the Science and Technology Park is located. With 27 R&D office buildings as the core carriers, the Science and Technology Park actively builds "100 billion buildings" and constructs a full-chain industrial ecology of "technology, industry and trade" for nonferrous metals. At present, nearly 20 nonferrous metal enterprises have gathered, covering upstream and downstream links such as metal material research and development, precision processing, trade circulation and terminal product applications, forming an industrial cluster with an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan. Among them, Fenghe Technology, as a technical benchmark enterprise, relies on the world's leading precision spray forming (PSF) technology to successfully mass-produce high-end mold steel, ultra-high strength aluminum alloy and other "stuck neck" metal materials, with an annual production capacity of over 10,000 tons. The product performance is comparable to international standards and is widely used in mold manufacturing, aerospace, new energy vehicles and other fields, filling the gap in the independence of domestic high-end metal materials and reducing costs and increasing efficiency for the manufacturing industry.

Another leading company, Zhongchengshun Stainless Steel, has continued to deepen its industrial chain layout since its entry in 2022. Its total sales of stainless steel products have reached 5 million tons, and its total turnover has exceeded 40 billion yuan. It has been ranked among the "Top 100 Private Enterprises in Foshan" for many consecutive years. The park promotes collaboration among enterprises, accelerates breakthroughs in metal material application technology, and further promotes the agglomeration development of non-ferrous metal enterprises by building an innovative collaborative mechanism of "technology research and development + landing application".

Driven by technological innovation, Zhanmei Metal has implemented a dual-track strategic layout in the Science and Technology Park: on the one hand, it builds the Huaanmei Aluminum Safety Technology Service Platform, constructs a standardized safety technology system covering the entire industry chain, and empowers enterprises with safe production with intelligent technology; on the other hand, it provides metal rapid manufacturing solutions. The high-end metal spherical powder preparation project that is about to be launched will produce metal powders with high sphericity, high fluidity and low oxygen content through the independently developed radio frequency plasma spheroidization process, which will help improve the density of 3D printed parts and shorten the manufacturing cycle, contributing the "Zhanmei Solution" to additive manufacturing.
